Roadrunner Review - Home to School Connection

Dear Roadrunners,

We are hopeful that you and yours are safe and healthy. Click here to review our weekly newsletter. We have added some new information in hopes to support online learning as well as kept key information toward the end of newsletter. Thank you all for reaching out to your class teacher to touch base and "begin learning" together. If you have not reached out to your teacher, please do so. We want to ensure that all our Roadrunners are accounted for. This way, the teachers can assist with issues and troubleshoot with families to support online learning. WE are here for you!

We miss you all! Let's take this one day at a time!

The Roadrunner Staff

Good Day Roadrunner Families!

I hope you are having an enjoyable break. I imagine each of us have been watching the news closely and wondering what is next, and how to respond. I am sure you have been learning all you can about COVID-19. This is certainly unfamiliar territory for us. I am hopeful that our Roadrunner families stay healthy and connected via internet to support our learners!

I have enclosed information you may have already seen but feel it’s important enough to share again. CCISD schools and all after-school activities will be closed through Friday, April 10, 2020. Our district leaders will be meeting daily to assess the situation and what steps we need to take. Also, Dr. Smith will continue to work with state and local authorities to determine any future actions. I will communicate the information to you by email as I receive it. The district will also be sharing the information via the district website, email, call outs, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Below are their social media accounts:

Facebook-Clear Creek ISD

Our district curriculum department has compiled these resources to support our students while they are not in school. We want all our Roadrunners to spend time on Dreambox (Math) and Lexia (Reading) and to read book(s) at least 20-30 minutes a day. Your child’s teacher will be reaching out soon, and they may share other resources that can support your student as well. Click here to access CCISD's digital learning resources.

Mrs. Hall has also provided the following link on how to access e-books.

Please be patient with us as we navigate this unfamiliar situation. Also feel free to email us with any questions or concerns you may have. Your child’s teacher is completing 9 weeks grading and plans to connect to their students to share learning opportunities. If you have a need or a question, let your child’s teacher know as we hope to assist you this week using a digital platform so we can stay connected!

Please tell your student that Mrs. Mooney and the entire Roadrunner staff says, “Hi,” and we miss seeing their sweet smiles!
